Christmas on the Move: Morrinsville Edition

Last weekend the family headed down to Morrinsville to catch up with some really old friends of my Dad’s, Griff and Maria. Griff is actually the name sake of my cat and I used to play with his daughters, Emelia and Elinor when I was little. Now they live in England and we haven’t seen them in years so it was a really nice day of catching up. They were staying at a place called Oak Lane Lodge and it is seriously so gorgeous. The food was fantastic (Especially the home made bread) and the grounds were amazing. After lunch we went for a walk and it felt like something out of the past (Like when people would go out to great country manor houses during the weekend and they’d always go on group walks and what not.)
