Whittaker’s Milk Strawberry

Whittakers Strawberry Whittakers Strawberry

There’s something special about boxed chocolates. Whether it’s the novelty, Matilda or all the different flavours, the idea of them alone gets my heart a bit fluttery. But sometimes just one or two of your favourite flavour isn’t enough.

Whittaker’s have had us covered on the novelty flavours for a while – between Ghana Peppermint, Hazelnut, Berry & Biscuit and the Peanut Butter one they generally make me a pretty happy girl. But there’s always been that one flavour that no one else had nailed. The strawberry.

Whittaker’s Milk Strawberry has pulled it off well and truly. From the packaging to the flavour it is easily my new favourite chocolate. Creamy Whittaker’s double rolled milk chocolate crossed with a gooey strawberry filling, the mouth waters just thinking about it.

So for you real chocolate connoisseurs how would I rate it? Well, if you’re a dark chocolate fiend like my Dad it’s probably not going to be your cup of tea. But if you don’t mind chocolate that is a bit sweeter then it may be right up your alley. The deep cocoa taste of Whittaker’s chocolate provides a bit of balance to the filling so it’s sweet but it’s not too sugary or plastic on the tongue. It’s the sort of chocolate that once you pop a square on the tongue keeps you going back for more.

Case in point.. that chocolate I bought this afternoon may not be in my fridge anymore…..
